The LAST day to pay winter taxes before interest is added is February 14, 2023. For tax collection purposes the office will be open from 9:00am – Noon and 1:00pm -5:00pm on February 14, 2023. The LAST to pay at the township office is February 28, 2023 and the office will be open from 9:00am – Noon and 1:00pm -5:00pm.
Please pay by mail if possible. With the COVID-19 restrictions our office may be closed to the public at any time. Winter deferment is due February 14, 2023. Checks must clear or your receipt is void. Your check will be your receipt. If you require a receipt, please send us a self-addressed stamped envelope so we can mail your receipt back to you.
You can look up your taxes at bsaonline.com. Then search Montcalm County, Richland Township. You are now able to pay with a credit card or e-check but please be warned that you will pay a convenience fee charged by the processing company. It will be 3% on the total with a credit/debit card. If you use an e-check it will be $3.00 for e-checks up to $10,000 or $10.00 for over $10,000.
